The Lion Richlands stands as one of the leading hospitality venues in Queensland, and marks the home of Lions FC. Founded in 1957 by Dutch immigrants as Hollandia, our club has thrived since its inception. With a journey rooted in passion and resilience, The Lion Richlands & Lions FC has continuously pushed boundaries and achieved remarkable milestones.
One of the crowning moments in our history came in 1981 when our Lions emerged triumphant in the NSL Cup over West Adelaide in Canberra. It was our first title and a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence.
Since then, our club has been at the forefront of football and hospitality in Queensland, lifting Premierships, Championships, and Cup Finals.
Today, our licensed club stands as one of the leading establishments in the state and has become a welcoming space for all our members and guests. The Lion Richlands offers state-of-the-art gaming machines, a fine dining restaurant, a café with extended trading hours, a Sports Bar for live sporting action, and a Lounge for relaxation.
Furthermore, the venue provides a supervised kids’ room for members and features TAB and Keno facilities. Despite the venue’s ample facilities, it is the friendly and welcoming team at The Lion that consistently attracts members through the door.
