OUR LIONS WOMEN STUNNED MITCHELTON WITH SEVEN GOALS IN A SCINTILLATING SECOND HALF VICTORY AT TERALBA PARK
Playing away on synthetic fields at Teralba Park, it was a slow start to proceedings against Mitchelton.
With the hosts defending firmly, it was Elli Chapple who was forced to make the first save of the game, reacting quickly to block a late shot at her front post. Shianna Singh quickly responded with a chance for our Lions Women, and forced a fine save with her curling effort!
Tonia-Marie Rantucci saw a first-time effort blocked at the near post as we looked to break the deadlock before the break. We ended the half locked at 0-0.
If the first half was quiet, the second half was the opposite.
