Lions FC is thrilled to announce the return of Warren Moon as the clubs Technical Director for the remainder of the 2023 Season.
We are proud to welcome back former Head Coach Warren Moon to Richlands for the remainder of the 2023 Season as the clubs Technical Director. Warren brings a proven track record of youth development.
Warren returns to Richlands since departing as our Head Coach in 2019 to join Brisbane Roar as the clubs’ Academy General Manager. While Moon only lead the Roar’s Academy for 12 months, the program yielded significant success. Following his role within the clubs Academy structure, Warren progressed to be Head Coach of the A-League team from mid 2020 through to earlier this year.
Warren Moon will assume his role as Technical Director at Lions FC starting this week. Working closely with the coaching staff and players, he will implement a comprehensive footballing philosophy that prioritizes youth development and fosters a culture of excellence within the club. His extensive experience and proven ability to develop talent will further strengthen Lions FC’s foundation for long-term success.
Lions FC General Manager, Rob Scanlon, expressed his enthusiasm about Warren Moon’s return, stating, “We are thrilled to have Warren re-join us as our Technical Director for the remainder of this season.
