It was must-win action at Luxury Paints Stadium as our Lions Men hosted Peninsula Power in a blockbuster top-of-the-table clash!
An intense first half saw our Lions Men create a handful of chances, but ultimately we entered the break level.
After the break, Cher Deng made an extraordinary recovery tackle, slipping over as Power burst through one-v-one. Somehow and with blistering speed, Cher sprinted back and made a surgical sliding challenge from behind to win possession inside the box without drawing a foul.
It was Jerson Lagos who found the moment of magic, firing home from the centre of the box to break the deadlock at last!
