Winning the ball back near the halfway line, Rachel switched the play before making a late run into the box, hammering home a first-time effort after a swift cutback from Chelsea Blissett!

Minutes later, Scarlett Premerl made a discreet run between the lines, running onto Shianne Rosselli’s pass and beating the keeper with a measured shot. A slight touch pushed her effort across the face of the goal, and Meaghan McElligott arrived at the back post to bury the chance into the back of the net!

Chelsea Blissett created our third goal before the half-hour mark, whipping a sharp cross towards the front post for Meaghan McElligott. She met the cross with an improvised volley across the keeper to make it 3-0 in thirty minutes.
A goal on the stroke of halftime saw Souths United recover a goal, and we entered the break with a 3-1 lead.
We maintained control after the break, defending in unison while carefully looking for another goal to resetablish our three-goal advantage!
With twenty minutes remaining, Meaghan McElligott secured her hattrick with the best goal of the night. A stunning outside-foot half-volley from the edge of the box that spun away from the keeper and into the upper right side netting following a corner!
